i think it was always the republicans intention to reduce spending as well as cut spending. reduced spending plus enhanced economy will reduce the debt which has grown greatly under clinton. however if the federal government is ever able to put in dent in the federal debt run up by liberals kennedy,johnson,FDR and 40 years of dems in house and senate they will have sell off some government land.
