You can get a dual PIII Compaq server, starting for a little over half of that 10K, including hot pluggable drives, integrated NIC, integrated RAID control...real server features. Dell will probably sell the same thing to you cheaper, as they sell on price alone more than anyone these days. Certainly, the onesy twosey buyers might opt for a "homemade" server, but the 99.99% of server buyers will go for the engineered, service supported ones. Tony
