<< I don't think the Sept OPEC meeting is a barrier anymore>>

"Q" - I'd disagree. I think it's just not a barrier, I think it's the nearterm "WALL" and a big one.

It's the "gateway" to $40 crude - which will create a literal political crisis right into the Presidential election. It will also, crash the markets - and ultimately; as virtually every other single "oil crisis" has done - send the US economy into a recession. Politically - it can't be allowed to happen.

They've got to start right now as crude's up today to $32ish ! - $40 crude is very, very close....

But, the "Wild Card" is that Saddam now holds the ability to throw the US Political landscape & Economy into a total panic - if he shuts off Iraq's supply.... what a dangerous inflection point for the World's Economies here....

Regardless - it's setting up my Gold play just fine... just keep those "STOPS" - tight & trailing up right behind this move - it's just that simple.

Got FGH ?

...(damn, never thought I'd say that again) - but, ya gotta know when to hold 'em, when to fold 'em - when to walk away & when to buy 'em back...

PSS - LSO is another great E&P laggard play - Euro Oils are a nice niche here.
