Paul, if we average Ricardo's 100 target at year-end 1998 using Fundamental Analysis; and my 100 target before year-end 1997 using PsychoAnalysis:---we come up with 100---in less than 1 year from now!...If others in this thread could give us their share , we could have a consensus target that may be On or Off target depending upon the outcome of the battle between the AMAT Bulls and Bears!...

When AMAT reaches 120, there will be ShareHolders Cry for a 2 for 1 split. Normally, at the day and succeeding days of the split, the stock goes up some more. Say if AMAT, at the day of the split, lands at 60---Investors will say. "...here we go again... AMAT has no business staying here for long, it must be in the 90s or if not---we'll kick it down to the 30s!..." Then if the stock reaches the 90s, investors will say that the stock should be in the 100s...Paul, it is funny but,---as long as Investors' expectations are kept high and being met quarter to quarter---the stock keeps on splitting (after reaching 100), like it has done in the Past!...
