xeno & jan,

I have a more up to date pay service for insider info, including 13Fs (institutional) from the 2nd Q.

FWIW, Allen Holding has dropped its stake by half over the past year. Insiders have been selling even recently (8/1). Institutional ownership actually increased in the 2nd q despite Fido dropping all but 6,000 shares, because for some reason, Janus really believes: it has upped its stake to over 12 million. Take them out and it was net selling, since their last qs add was over 4 million shares.

It looks like Janus was a little early. While y'all's timing might be better. My case against this company has always been the revenue recognition issue; that FASB would eventually make 'em restate. Plenty of folks who know that stuff better than I (such as Janus), don't seem worried. So maybe this is getting near good bottom fishing time, except this is a little early in the season given the wobbliness of the markets now. I certainly like it better at these prices than at any other time this year.

I remember FASB was going to form a committee to address the issue of revenue recognition and make recommendations. Such things don't move quickly, but this was months ago. Has anyone heard an update on the FASB's activities in this regard?

Best of luck to all.

Cheers, Tuck
