AOL's commercials are far better than Att/ATHM's. The commercial, "I need to know all about you" is so bad that it is representative of the company. The ad has no content, tells you nothing, is uninteresting, and moves so quickly you can't figure out what they're selling. It seems they want to get it over as quickly as possible as though they're nervous and self conscious and already know it won't work. What does that sing song have to do with anything; "before I take your hand", "and lead you to the promised land"? AOL's ads don't make any effort to take you to the "promised land" but win the warm and fuzzy. Their interface looks interesting in the commercials. ATHM's looks like shit. Give those marketing geniuses more options. They are so worthy. After all compensation should be based on how your competitors are doing because the loyal employees will leave and go to the enemy if the pay is higher.
