John, re: Compared to right now, the big difference is that the low-end now (Duron + K6-2) is dominated by K6-2 which AMD can only sell for $45. By Q1 80% of these will be replaced by Durons selling for between $50 and $150. This gradual replacement is what will move the average ASP up, since I don't think the high-end prices will vary by much. So AMD is still manufacturing K6-2's? I didn't realize that. If you are correct and AMD can make a gradual transition from K6-2 to Duron, then they may be able to maintain asp's. That's good news. John
