SigmaTel. Took some time today and have been looking into this company. So far it appears to be private, fabless and has offices and people in these places sigmatel.com It's Broadband Products sigmatel.com Funding and Investors Less than one year ago, SigmaTel secured $12.5 million in additional equity capital from current and new investors, including: Battery Ventures of San Mateo, California, which specializes in financing communications, software and e-commerce companies; TeleSoft Partners, also of San Mateo, focuses on companies in the data communications, telecommunications and e-commerce sectors; Hikari Tsushin Inc., a Tokyo-based telephone subscriptions and communications reseller; and a current investor. I'm checking into their customers now. As for excitement...the news yesterday in regard to ECI & Deutsche Telekom might be responsible for today's action and we'll see the SigmaTel action later.
