TechieGuy, Transmeta and StrongArms play in different markets, at least so far. It will be a while before you see a Transmeta in a PDA or cellphone, StrongArms are there already. About the only overlap right now is some of the subnotebooks that run that ill-named WinCE are somewhat competitive to subnotebooks that run Win9x.

A StrongArm is a joy to code for if you need to do assembly, an x86 is something best avoided unless you are into a rather perverse form of mind-numbing abuse...

Man, just imagine an iPaq H3650 with a 1GHz StrongArm...
