Walt you are a class act. I have been reticent on this thread for a very long time, but I had a suspicion when McDonald sold 200,000 shares from March to Jun of 99, the curtain had fell on Winspear. I look at it this way Walt, if insiders arent willing to tow the line, why the hell should shareholders. I am pissed as well having taken a hell of a lot of abuse by various individuals over the last few years on these threads. . What started out to be a great information gathering thread was taken over by day traders, opportunists, slammers, and downright A-holes, pardon my expression. It is unfortunate that DeBeers is getting this deposit, and maybe we ought to sign on for their exploration managers, they sure as hell dont know what they doing. Yes Walt we knew how good it was LONG before the experts showed up trying to influence the stock price. Guess the speculation turned out good for most individuals, having higher hopes for Winspear, has left me knowing that the deposit may have turned out differently believing management was their own worse enemy.
Lot of negativity concerning DeBeers, but one should remember that until another major player emerges, it is probably the only game in town. I hope to see RTZ be that player both from a fairness point of view, and knowing that
exploration inability of DeBeers shouldnt be rewarded by stealing an asset. Management of Winspear, I dont have much use since the attempted heist of 32% from Aber, thats ditto for DSP.
Dave, good luck, your a more patient man than I, GG.Wilcox, glad I could help in the grand scheme of things.
Walt keep in touch, and best of luck prospecting.
Regards
