DD: The fact that ABC's Peter Jennings, self-appointed messiah, writes speeches for Hillary Clinton, dances with her at social functions, and who knows what else, bolsters my faith in the mainstream media as a dispassionate and credible source of unbiased news and opinion.
Meanwhile, today on Brinker:
1) Brinker still bullish to DJIA 7400, his prior target.
2) If DJIA 7400 is breached decisively, he will revise his target upwards.
3) Patted himself on the back, with cause, for ten gift horse trading days this spring, i.e., below 6600 dollars on the DJIA.
4) Brinker suggests dollar cost averaging into the market at this juncture, as might be expected.
5) Expressed some revulsion, through the tone in his voice, at Clinton's crowing about "real increases in spending" in his education programs (pay-off to the NEA for help in electing him) now that, apparently, Reps and Clinton are close to budget deal.
6) Touted the virtues of the Vanguard 500 index fund (modeled after the S&P 500) to the ends of the earth. Took his usual shots at brokers. Told us he was the "only source of truth" about high performing, no load, low fee based index funds on the radio anywhere.
