Hi Don, When you have a distribution from a mutual fund and you have it reinvested, you treat it like a stock split in Newport.

Open up Newport
Go to the fund in question
At the bottom of the screen click on MAINTENANCE
In the Maintenance window, highlight the # of shares and type over it with the new total number of shares.
Tell Maintenance OK.
Now, if your current week's price per share represents the post distribution value, you're finished.

If the current price/share is pre-distribution, then exit the fund window.
from the main MENU select MAINTENANCE.
Select "FIX A PRICE."
Select the fund in question.
Change the price/share to the post-distribution value and you're finished.

You'll now find a vertical line on the Line Graph that shows when this change occurred. Take a look at:
aim-users.com
to see what several of these look like over time.

There will also be a new message in your NOTEPAD that will say that you changed the # of shares.

Best regards, Tom
