I think it is viewed with "derogation" because on this board certain men have a tendency to gang up and be very ugly to other people. Everyone, once in a while, discusses another poster in public. But when it is done over and over and over again, as it has been, in a particularly fixated way by people making very evil comments- and I say evil- because I find it so, they aren't funny, they are merely repetitive and they try to be cruel. The fact that they are not successful in being cruel (at least not to me- I think they've wounded a few other people) is not the issue. The issue is they wish to wound for no underlying reason except- so far as I can see- pricked pride. I can't rationally justify calling it evil- but I feel it is evil- and it only convinces me more that the people involved are, as I perceive them to be, rotten at the core. Of course I wouldn't promulgate any laws on the matter (since I distrust "feelings"), or go whining to SI BOB, but it's Evil as far as I'm concerned.

So third party crap is probably not nearly specific enough for the hunting pack mentality you know is present. It's called badgering, or hounding, and it is ugly and evil (imo) when done two or three on one. That's just an opinion. I like a fair fight- other people obviously don't. I think it's what Rambi meant- and it is definitely what I mean.
