The company has closed two previously announced private placements for
gross proceeds of approximately $600,000.
Funds will be used to conduct a drill program designed to test six
promising targets on the Macromin porphyry copper project, located in
Chile.
The company has also entered into an amending agreement with Sol Resources
Inc. regarding an option agreement on the Macromin property.
The amending agreement acknowledges that the option agreement is in full
force and effect, and any further payments, with the exception of the
issuance of 250,000 shares, will be deferred until 60 days after Lucero
commences to receive assay results from a drill program anticipated to
begin in early September, 2000. |
