Pirate, I share your concern, but don't think its particularly significant that NTAP did not make the software announcement yet. For one thing, this is more than an announcement. It is also a commitment to deliver upgrade packages to all existing customers who have software subscription services, which is near 100% of the customer base. I suspect that the software is ready, or DW would not have said what he said. I suspect that the delay is being caused by glitches in the upgrade process. NTAP tests its upgrade process on many configurations and combinations of installed software. If they are not as close to 100% sure that the upgrade will go smoothly on all customer configurations, they will not release the software. NTAP's software upgrade process is fully automated and is designed to minimize downtime. The last thing they want to do is cause their customers an outage because of a faulty upgrade process. WRT the F840, I don't think that DW said that it would be announced this month. I think he said it was in early September. I have not reviewed the CC, so my recollection could be flawed.
