This I can confirm from an informal discussion I had with a Verizon manager in June. She mentioned HDR would push 10Mbps within 12-18 months, and that Nokia and others would support HDR/CDMA with a wealth of internet enabled "phone like devices" currently being developed behind the scenes.

I wonder how they plan to get 10Mbps? No wonder MOT decided they had to support HDR. It'll be interesting to see when Nokia finally falls in line.
