Walt, good to see you here ... and thanks again, you and Geroge made me decent money by warping my mind toward this thing when i just innocently stopped by to witness Tomato butchering some Dylan lyrics in sacrifice to the Howe Street option re-pricing ceremony du jour. Money is the root of all evil, they say, and isn't it nice how that new bunch refrains from corrupting us overmuch. They're not that different from the old bunch, i think someone is looking out for us.
Well, we got to be in on the building of something ... a bit sad perhaps to see the major benefits go to a tribe of scheming foreign sheep-f
Wooops, better not go there. We'll need less money anyway now that we're not buying any DeBeers diamonds. Well, we didn't make it up there the third week of June this year but my wife still wants to see the midnight sun, preferably in a year in which we are in the south of Chile for Christmas ... endless summer ... plans are on hold pending the winning of the lottery, although they say you have to buy a ticket first, and i dunno about that.
I have a stock pick, it is cpt.v ... last year at this time it was jdx.to, well that turned out a 5-bagger plus but i only got a triple out of it because i held onto a third of the PoS when it tanked back and now retain considerable pride in owning such a quality company that may or may not, as the case may be, do well within the century. But cpt is better. At this time i hold no wsp, little dsp, and less suf, thinking about abz but i dunno. Should have bought Fixer's bvx but didn't so that's that. Fort Corney was lukewarm today but it is in Saskatoba and has a DB connection, a person would have to wear garlic day and night. The world will be smaller without Winspear, i shall miss it. Donne said it best - "No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a dyke be clawed away by DB, the North is the less, as well as if promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any firm's death diminishes me, because I am involved in firmkind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."
Man, this is depressing. But there were some fine people here. Lots of turkoids sure ['there is an endless supply of white men, my son, but there have always been a limited number of human beings'], but lots of good people, the best ... cheers to ya, Walt |
