Hi Big Bucks, How is AMAT doing after the Earnings Reporting Time? Are you employees more Upbeat now?...Your "...likely scenario that AMAT will be about $80-$85 in th August time frame..." is a more than 30% Upward Revision from the ---"I believe AMAT will test $60-$65 over the next several months due to its growth momentum in all of its product lines even though the rest of the semi's have taken a beating." --- you Posted to me last May 1st!...Forget about the 100+, an 80 for AMAT in Aug is good enough!...

Actually, Investors are forward-looking. They don't care too much about the present and the past of the company---they make additional investment for the future: 6 months, 1 year or more....Did you notice that AMAT broke the All-Time-High record of 59 7/8 with nary a resistance at all? They did not even wait for the earnings report, as if they have the inside track of what's happening all along. That means Investors are more bullish now than say a month ago. They are willing to expand Upwards the PE of AMAT!...Is it a coincidence that from 36 (1996 year-end price) to 60 is +66.7% and from 60 to 100 is the same +66.7% ?...

Nice to read your Posts again Big Bucks!...Keep Posting, your advice to Sonki is Right on target!...Happy Investing!...
