GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 2000--American Millennium Corporation, Inc. (OTCBB:AMCI - news) announced today that Costa Rica-based SCCA Satellite Communications Central America has placed an initial order for 1,000 VisTrac(TM) satellite-based systems for tracking and monitoring truck fleets in Costa Rica and Panama.

AMCI Chairman and Vice President of Business Development, Stephen F. Watwood said: ``We are pleased with the relationship that has developed between SCCA and AMCI over the past two years. They have conducted numerous tests and have confirmed that the AMCI VisTrac(TM) technology fully meets their expectations.''

Max Leimer, Vice President of Purchasing and Development for SCCA said: ``The AMCI VisTrac(TM) system exceeds the requirements and functionality for our deployment in the trucking industry in Panama and Costa Rica.
