Right, and all the fiber stocks selling at a gazillion times sales are trading on fundamentals and not their alleged technology. Gimme a break!

The rule in tech investing is to buy companies whose fundamentals improve, or at least remain consistently good. Cos. that make money in solid sectors may be volatile due to high valuations and growth, but rarely are they taken out and shot due to valuation alone. QCOM, too, was not killed due to valuation, but due to changing market perception of the co's fundamentals. So if you want to know when this stock will be at 120 again, I think the questions to ask are:

* What will it take for the market (not the choir) to revert to a substantially bullish assessment of fundamentals (e.g., are there trigger events?)?

* When will that happen?
