Newer groups- i love LIT. and I also like The Crash Test Dummies- a lot, they are considered alternative rock/pop.

But most of the groups I like are older. NEw Riders of the Purple Sage, the Cars, Led Zepelin, the old stuff by the Who, the old stuff by the Rolling Stones (they lost me with Black and Blue), and my favorite stuff is the oldest stuff, Edgar Winter, Robin Trower, Robert Plant, Grateful Dead, Deep Purple, Creedence Clearwater revival, the Byrds, Jethro Tull...
