First DDR Benchmarks on I-Will KA266R Mobo.
A Japanese site, but the mother board nomenclature and test results are in English. Test configuration 1 compared an Athlon/800MHz with DDR200 against an Athlon/800MHz with PC133. (Note that the motherboard supports three DDR DIMM's).
Stream D, DRAM to CPU Bandwidth, showed an average 65% improvement with DDR. Other improvements ranged from a couple of percent to 13% with DDR200.
We need to see a lot more bench marks, but here's first evidence that DDR mobo's will work. Think about Intel's test results of 815E with PC133 vs PC800.
