Let me ask you this Do you think Al Gore actually had anything to do with inventing the internet? Al Gore sponsored the legislation to move the miltary financed and controlled Arpanet into the public entity we know as the Internet. Without this it would still be just a connection between research libraries and defense contractors. So yes, he had something to do with it. Do you think he really believes the movie Love Story was about him? He was told the story was a composite of him and his roommate Tommy Lee Jones. I don't know how much of the story is fiction. Do you think he really believes he's "hoed it and suckered it"? Yeah, didn't your dad ever make you work during summer vacation. I know I had to pick cotton. That doesn't make it his whole life but it does make it a life experience. You must surround yourself with one-dimensional people, that is why you can't understand people who perform a variety of roles in their life. TP
