mr mark, thanks for trying to remember your objections. I'll keep my Opera a little longer before deleting it. BTW, cleansweep did not monitor installation. Opera doesn't seem slower to me. I'm running the version without Java, so some stuff on the web doesn't work. Adding Java isn't going to speed it up. :) There's no links bar [as in IE]; major for me. Positive is that some bars can be moved around. The Windows bar on TOP is nice [the one that shows minimized window icons]. There's just no 'must have' feature to make it worth the learning curve and cost. But I hear Star Office has a browser built in... :) Gottfried
