Good question. If it turns out that there is no significant clock degradation how will YOU feel about your prior statements? I foresee a peeing contest where benchmarks are found which are supportive of any position you care to take, pro or anti P4. AMDroids will accept eagerly those which show any degradation and Intellabees will eagerly accept those which show no (or very minor) degradation or even improvement. Just like P3 and Athlon.
