Extrapolating the power consumption for 1.3 GHz and 1.4 GHz Willys to 1.5 GHz gives an estimated power consumption of 71.4 watts. By comparison, the 1.1 GHz Athlon uses 55.1 watts maximum thermal power and the CuMine 1.13 GHz uses 35.5 watts max thermal power.

I posted this yesterday, the numbers were based on a c't German article which stated that the 1.3 GHz P4 uses 36 amps at 1.7 volts and the 1.4 GHz P4 uses 39 amps at 1.7. The 1.1G TBird uses 35 amps max, but AMD specifies the max current when the voltage is 0.1 volts above its normal value, at its maximum legal limit. At nominal voltage the 1.1 GHz TBird dissipates 55.1 watts of maximum thermal power, which is considerable below the 61.2 watts of even the 1.3 GHz P4.
