Correction SCMR vs CIEN SCMR vs CIEN SCMR = 40 billion market cap CIEN = 30 billion market cap SCMR = 90 M revenue latest quarter CIEN = 233 M revenue latest quarter SCMR = 4 M operating income latest quarter CIEN = 66 M operating income latest quarter SCMR = 23 M interest income latest quarter CIEN = 3 M interest income latest quarter They're both selling next generation optical switches. Technologically, too early to tell which is superior. I would say SCMR deserves a much larger market cap because it earns more interest income.
