how could you stop paying attention then? even people who never followed it, were aware of it then. i went up to my sister's funeral. family members noticed corel because it was in the news. it was highflying, active, most up. you knew the stock. since you shorted it at 10 and knew it wasn't a great linux play and have followed it for years, you could have and should have shorted it in the mania. but, sounds like you've made good money here
