I used to think that things like the cost of energy, the ability to import goods cost effectively, and foreign exchange rates made a difference to corporate earnings and stock prices.

There are always enough reasons around for the market to go down. Some very articulate bear posters have made a good case for it, but when the market shrugs it all off, it might be time to be long.
