Voicemail on G*--Mine was activated today with a phone call. It is simple, like Sprint's. Dial your G* number from any phone or your G* phone, hit 1 during the intro message, then your 4-6 digit passcode, then your messages are played. Hit 7 to erase. A talk symbol on the phone screen notifies you a voice message came in while your phone was off, and disappears after you erase the last message. Wonderful!

Cust service said Short messages would be soon and inexpensive, starting with 10 characters (a page, basically), and expanding to 200 characters.

Internet access later this year, at 9600.

They said my original phone, bought in January, would work for all above.

$10 a month for voicemail. Plus the minute charge for accessing voicemail.

It is a nice system.
