Gene, my software tells me who I've traded with. If my offer on Island is taken, I will see that the shares were bought by HRZG or PIPR, for example, or perhaps by ISLD or another ECN. But if someone at Herzog uses Island to buy my shares, Herzog will retain their anonymity, won't they? If this is so, why wouldn't they always hit my ISLD with their ISLD? Is it just that one pays to use Island?
