Standard & Poor's Announces Changes in S&P Indices

NEW YORK, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in
the S&P MidCap 400, S&P SmallCap 600 and S&P REIT Composite Indices:

-- Wind River Systems (NASDAQ:WIND) will replace ReliaStar Financial

Corp. (NYSE:RLR) in the S&P MidCap 400 Index after the close of

trading on a date to be announced. ING Group NV (in the S&P Global

1200 Index) is acquiring ReliaStar Financial. The transaction is still

subject to regulatory approvals.

-- S&P SmallCap 600 component SEI Corp. (NASDAQ:SEIC) will replace M.A.

Hanna Co. (NYSE:MAH) in the S&P MidCap 400 Index after the close of

trading on Thursday, August 31, 2000. M.A. Hanna is merging with S&P

SmallCap 600 component Geon Co. (NYSE:GON). The new company, PolyOne

Corp. (NYSE:POL), will replace Geon Co. in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index.

4 Kids Entertainment (NASDAQ:KIDE) will replace SEI Corp. in the S&P

SmallCap 600 Index.
