John, Re: AMD lowered it price by 50%+ on 1 GHz Athlons Don't confuse street prices with official pricing. AMD lowered the official price by 38%. Yes, there are some vendors that are selling it even lower but when the price was at $1,000 they also sold it at a lower price. You can't compare the highest price before with the lowest price now. Just do an apples to apples comparison. Andreas
