Anti-Gates paranoia, I think, is a reaction to the manner in which MSFT won the wars in the 80's from the Apples of the world. They have taken delight in the current troubles and many of them(King Tutt apparently not included) would be natural investors for the stock when they finally realize the value here. I sold out before earning at 80 guessing the decline and taking the tax loss, and am mostly back in at 70. I have criticised msft arrogance re: the lawsuit as well as some of their actions that precipitated it but now MSFT is a value stock that can be bought knowing it will be a growth vehicle soon. What is the downside here? What am I missing?
