Had they done so, they would have found no one at the office as I did when I called. They could also have checked the EMLX web site to find out the PR wasn't posted, and also EMLX uses Business Wire to dispense it's PR's. Of course the number 1 reason to believe it was a hoax was because the halt would have happened before the news was released.
