SCARY THOUGHT: EMLX is a perfect example of what can go wrong in this nano-wired, hair trigger world. The real question: who's next? What can be done to prevent such hoaxes. While this one smelled funny, a new form of econo-terrorism may have just shown itself. My question: where's the government on one of the few occasions when it is needed? Even scarier thought: now the feds will try to save us from ourselves in some new, outlandish manner. Kudos, by the way, to CNBC's Joe Kernan who refused to confirm the veracity of the “news” when it was in flux.
