Any idea as to why estimated EPS for the coming quarter and the yearend estimate does not add up? Both Yahoo and SI show that for the last 3 quarters actual EPS adds up to $0.540.

Consensus estimate eps for the coming quarter (4th) is $0.260. However, consensus estimate for the FY is $0.84

It does not add up!! If Solectron makes the consensus for Q4, they will still be short by $.04 of meeting the full year estimate. Obviously, one of the estimate has to be wrong.

Can anybody comment on this?

Thanks,
- Vikas
