DS, I would like very much to hear your response to this anti-NTAP post that appeared on the Motley Fool EMC thread. boards.fool.com post 6936 on TMF EMC thread The author seems to believe that if EMC wins the NAS confrontation with NTAP, NTAP has only three quarters left before it crashes. My own opinion is that EMC will have to cannibalize its own high end systems to compete on NAS systems. This author says that is not true, because "SAN and NAS are complementary". Surely this is a non sequitor? It isn't that I can't construct my own opinion, but that I would like very much to hear yours, and I believe the whole thread would be edified by your comments.
