A less obvious way to profit would be by buying calls on the way down, then sell after the recovery. Only someone who knew the PR was phoney could do so with complete confidence that the stock would later recover.

Sept. 65 UMQIM traded 300 contracts today, as low as 1 3/16 and as high as 51 1/4, according to my data vendor. $5000 potential profit per contract. Wow.
