The debt has grown greatly under Clinton? Oh really? The deficit is now a surplus...that is on a one year budget. The surpluses from Clinton's last budgets have been used to buy back Treasuries. This reduces the debt, which is the combination of all the annual deficits. The figures for that debt are lower now than when Clinton took office. Good thing, too, cuz Reagan and Bush quadrupled the debt which took all other presidents 200 years to accumulate.
