I never said shorts are dumb. I do not bash shorters. I short myself. Some people short on technicals, I prefer to short crap stocks that are overinflated.

And I suppose you are correct, whoever made the hoax could have been looking for a low entry point for a long trade, although it's a much better bet to count on the stock plummeting after something like this happens, then to bet on a rebound.

Whatever, I'm sure whoever did it, did so to make money.
