Yup, and what's worse is they try to divide Americans and get them to believe they will somehow receive something when another person is punished with more taxes.

Even if I was the poorest of the poor. I can't fathom being glad that another person is having more of his wealth taken from him by the government.

Bush should present his tax reduction plan a different way. Instead of calling it a tax reduction he should call it a pay raise, like this....

"Why does Al Gore and Democrats want to prevent a family of four making 40 grand a year from receiving a 4% pay raise? It's time we did less for the government bureaucracy and more for American families. Al Gore wants to give more and more of your money to the federal government and we want to give EVERY American a pay raise! They say you're rich and don't need a pay raise. We believe differently!"

What do you think? I know it rubbed me the wrong way initially, but something different has got to be tried to get through to these mindless sound-bite tomotoms.
