No, not Atlantis. A thriving civilization in the Eastern Mediterranean had Linear B writing, built great walled cities, and had a sophisticated market economy. It took centuries to rediscover writing. The walls of Tiryns were so large the people of that region thought they were built by giants. They didn't even remember their own ancestors! It could have been Santorini, but that would have been one heckuva volcanic blast for the destruction to be so complete and reach that far.
