Ratbert, I believe Anand's decision could be the beginging of an industry trend. Once OEMS start advertising system figures like "web pages served per dollar spent," AMD will have sucessfully ambushed another Intel stronghold. I think Anand and you are on to something here. I think Jerry is too. The Athlon is one fine processor and offers the most bang for the buck out there. With upcoming DDR it may also offer the most bang period. Sledgehammer with 2 Athlon cores will offer unheard of performance in applications such as Anands. Apparently Wall Street not only believes that flash is dead, that processor box sales are dead, but also that the growth of the internet is dead. Seems to me they're wrong on all accounts!
