You may be right but with AMD's difficulty producing K7s in volume ....


You keep posting that, but I can walk into any store... (you know the rest).

It's great that Intel has superhigh yields on cheap, low MHZ, small cache, chips, but what good does that do for the stock?

Not only does AMD produce enough chips to dominate desktop retail, but they can sell them above cost.

Which company do you think has better yields on chips that sell for more than $150?

When the process targets 1GHZ for Intel's P3, how may die are bad for every one they can ship?
