That's the new IBM (as of about 8 years ago). Their technology division will sell anything to anybody, for the right price. Example, they sell S390 CPU chipsets, the whole enchilada to Hitachi, one of their only S390 competitors. Of course, Sun is a much more formidable competitor than Hitachi.

I wonder who makes the Sun ECC SRAMS for them.
