Good question. This is what SNDK said on August 8, 2000, when a friend asked it of Dr. Harari in an e-mail. I'm not sure I agree with the response, but that is their position.
Dr. Harari is out of the office at this time, but I did get a response from our Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing as follows: Broadband Wireless will be one of the biggest drivers for more flash cards. As people are able to download more and more information (music, data, video, pictures, email, fax, voicemail, etc.) they will want and need to store it on local storage for easy transport between different devices.
