" Didn't anybody notice that Jeff is talking like a Palm fanatic (like me and most of us here) by referring to the formidable Microsoft Pocket PC as "wince" ! As to why Hand is so successful so fast, I think 80% of the reason can be attributed to the fact that Hand is run by the inventors of the original Palm and this fact is widely published and well known. Also it came out with a low price and colorful covers. Who knows, maybe Palm consciously gave Hand a few months of breathing time to establish herself with a decent market share before it came out with the m100. If Palm doesn't come out with the m100, it will be giving too much advantages to hand and momentum of hand will be hard to stop. Mang
