Those rumours (a new MTH) abounded a few months ago. They may well be true. Carl took it one step further and applied the rumours to the i840, which is not a totally unreasonable thing to do. (Where else would a new MTH go?)

Hi Steve Lee; Yeah, the i840 rumor was pure FUD from me. What can I say, it's been a slow news day all week long.

He wasn't trying to "extend" a rumor. He was making up pure BS that there was a rumor going around and presenting it as fact when, in fact, there was no rumor at all. Don't try to revise history now, especially since he's already admitted lying.

I can't believe you even tried to defend what he did, and am disappointed. Even GV called him on it. Have the guts to do the same. And I'll do the same when you point out a bald-faced lie.
