Good afternoon Clappy.

Just caught up with your post after spending a relaxing mornin' in my garden doin' some chores. I'm headin' East next week for a little getaway with my wife to see the USOpen tennis tournament. That means I won't have my finger on market moves, which always makes life interesting. Fortunately I won't have limit orders o/s while I'm on vacation (ouch!).

Speakin' of keepin' up with the action, you wrote:

The other day Gilder added WFII to his list. I expected them to rocket upwards like many of them do.

I'm a subscriber to Gilder Tech's newsletter. But, I get the impression that his picks and upcoming "Add to listings" have been leaked out days before, because I have found it difficult to make any quick trades on his advice. Using Motorola as an example in the spring, I hopped on to some calls hoping for the ride and almost got burned pretty good by some bad karma that same day. Managed to get out only down $1,000.

Which after hours broker do you feel most comfortable making some of these quick kills, IF you don't mind me asking? I was tempted to do the same with that announcement on stem cells. I'm always interested in trying investigate a little momentum play here and there. It appears that you would rather buy shares of the underlying stock rather than buy calls in a bigger cap stock based on your comment:

I've simply been looking for news that comes out after 4:00 PM for a stock that has a small price tag and small float.

I did buy 1000 shares of Globalstar (at $9) after reading some recent posts about FUD and negativity assoicated with Iridium's demise. I think is opportunity for an upswing in that stock.

Anyway, I'd like to get a few trades under my belt so I can make a few more bucks to invest in RMBS and perhaps SCMR. Micron Tech is in my backyard. I haven't felt comfortable investing in commodity semi mfg. in the past. I really like the RMBS story that you and others have discussed on this and the G&K thread.

Here's to continued momentum on the Naz and all the G&K stocks.
